About Us
N16 Tots is a family run nursery that has been serving Stoke-Newington children since 2003. It is a privately-run provision. The nursery operates from a refurbished building, which has been renovated to meet the needs of the children attending. It is situated conveniently just off Stoke Newington Church Street in the London Borough of Hackney.
The nursery serves the local and wider community and is open 48 weeks of the year, closing for two weeks over the Christmas period and two weeks during the Easter holidays. It is open Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm. Children may attend on a part-time or full-time basis.
The nursery operates over two sites. The Baby Room, which cares for children from 8 months- 18 months is based at 4 Defoe Road. Children then progress to Toddler Room which caters for children aged 18 months - 27 months and is based in the mezzanine at Abney Hall on Stoke Newington Church Street. The next step is across to the Rising Three's Group and when children turn 3 they progress to Pre-School (both of these groups operate from the main space at Abney Hall). The bright and airy rooms are well equipped and provide a safe, stimulating environment where your child can enjoy growing into a confident, independent and sociable young person.

This year N16 raised a whopping £680.00 by taking part in Red Nose Day for Comic Relief! The older children took part in a sponsored Dance-a-thon and the babies held a sponsored Foot-print-a-thon! HUGE THANKS to all of the parents for their generous donations and helping us to make this year our MOST successful Red Nose Day event EVER!!
